The Dichotomy of Love

As she stood there, with her comely lined mascara eyes,
That appealed from one to infinity,
He started to have biased feelings.
A feeling of insecurity without her,
A feeling of envy, that scorched him.
A feeling of amour, he still yearned for.
He hated this ambiguous feeling for eternity.
Like an irritation after a smoke.
But her eyes, charismatic eyes
Had one hundred percent of his attention already
As her eyes, beaming like pearls,
Radiating happiness on every sight
And carrying a sphinxlike smile,
She had everyone masked, but him.
He was well-aware of her thoughts,
Her eyes had those silent chords of love.
Her unruly hair fluttering through the wind,
Made him restless, tossing and turning.
His heartbeat picked up, paralyzing the mind,
She was young, carefree, and heart-stoppingly beautiful.
He wanted to hold her to infinity,
But she was in a dilemma.
Struggling to choose between now and then,
Her mind, like a stalled engine that wouldn’t turn over.
She would skitter unpredictably, one moment affectionate, the next belligerent.
His words won’t stop, but he had to stop!
Bemoaning, he puts his pen down!
